This card actually dates from 1970 and was used until 2002.  In October of 1969 Stan Brokl, K6YYQ, was assigned the duty of chairing a contest to pick a new club QSL card after W6VIO became the club call in memory of Jack Blindbury, the original W6VIO.  In early 1970, after more than thirty entries were submitted, Gordon Crawford, WB6DRH, of JPL section 363, was declared the winner.  Bob Knight, section 711, took both second and third prize.
